We still have some places left on our Urogynaecology Dysfunction Pelvic floor assessment course January 20 – 22nd 2023. This is a 2.5 day course that is for physiotherapists wanting to learn how to perform pelvic floor assessment using a vaginal examination and for those wanting to update their skills. The January course is being hosted in the North West at Chorley and South Ribble Hospital. Tutors are Julia Herbert and Teresa Cook.

Healthy Bladders & Bowels (Short Course) – Tuesday 17th January 2023
This half day course covers healthy bladder and bowel management, focussing on the impact constipation and daytime bladder problems have on the child’s ability to achieve continence. An opportunity to test your knowledge and to get up to date on the latest treatments.

Nocturnal Enuresis – Wednesday 25th January 2023
This half day session on Nocturnal Enuresis uses the three systems approach to explore the reasons why children wet at night, with a focus on a child-orientated, evidence-based approach to treatment. The tools on the ERIC website will structure our journey through assessment and diagnosis to identifying and implementing optimal treatment.

Toilet Training Including Children with Additional Needs – Tuesday 31st January 2023
This half day session on Children with Additional Needs looks at the normal acquisition of bowel and bladder control, and the obstacles that may arise. Using the tools available on the ERIC website, we will explore the importance of assessment of bladder and bowel health and of readiness for toilet training, and how to apply what we learn to design individual toileting programmes.

The Managers Conference 2023, 13 -14 March
Hosted by NCF and Skills for Care, and in collaboration with ARC England, this networking evening with overnight accomodation and full day conference will champion and support the crucialrole of managers in adult social care. It will bring together managers from across the country to share knowledge, ask questions and network with colleagues.
The programme includes a mix of main plenary sessions and practical workshop options, as well as panel discussions. Topics include team working, embracing and embedding equality, diversity and inclusion, delivering outstanding care and recruiting potential managers.
